YW Calgary is working hard to limit COVID-19’s impact on the vulnerable women and families we support. While some of our programs are closed, we cannot stop providing our critical services which include our shelter programs that see nearly 200 women and children every night. We are being proactive in our response and making decisions with the health and safety with our clients in mind. The financial pressures on our organization are unlike anything we have experienced before.
Now weeks into the pandemic, we are experiencing a sharp increase in expenses as we continue to protect our clients and front-line staff. We need our community of friends and supporters now more than ever.

Online Donation
We know that amazing people like you are searching for ways to help. At this time, the best way to help YW and the women and families we support is to make an online donation. A monetary donation goes far beyond a single item and allows our staff to purchase urgently needed items and also offers our clients the freedom to select what they really need during this unprecedented time.

Do you love fitness, baking or making music? Take your talents online for a great cause. Invite your friends and followers to view a live concert, sweat session or cooking class and direct them to our online donation form while they watch! You can check out tips on how to go live on Facebook here.
Skip the Depot
Use SkipTheDepot to recycle your cans and bottles from the comfort of your couch and get paid. Your recycling gets picked up from your front door and best of all, you can make a difference in your community by donating your return to YW Calgary!
