On October 7, 2021, YW Calgary will celebrate the International Day of the Girl by hosting a conversation among four notable and diverse women who, despite facing various barriers and challenges, have become changemakers and advocates for issues facing women and girls today. In collaboration with YW Calgary’s new Women’s Economic Prosperity program, this event will foster intergenerational connections and an inspiring conversation you won’t want to miss. 

The International Day of the Girl aims to amplify girls’ voices, advocate for their rights and elevate their position in society.
