Domestic Violence and the Workplace
Through delving into the impact of domestic violence on individuals and teams, attendees will gain valuable insights and practical applications for fostering a workplace that prioritizes safety and support for everyone.
Attendees will walk away from this course with the knowledge to be able to:
- Define DV at work and recognize it in the workplace
- Speak more confidently about DV at work than you were prior to this conversation
- Provide one DV resource to peers
In light of Family Violence Prevention Month, we encourage you to register for this course to support this time of awareness through education.
This course will be delivered by our experienced speaker, Lana Bentley. Lana is an award-winning therapist and holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work from the University of Calgary. She has worked for nearly a decade in child and mental health for Alberta Health Services and has taught at Bow Valley College, the University of Calgary, and Mount Royal University.
