Register today for our third and final virtual lunch hour event celebrating remarkable women and youth in our city. This session takes an equitable and gendered lens on current and future opportunities in climate and the environment. Our speakers will delve into today’s hot environment and climate topics and how we can empower gender parity in this critical area.
Christine Ward works in the sustainability industry and specializes in coaching early-stage companies to successfully scale and drive innovation. Christine has ambitions of steering both the energy transition and economic shift from oil and gas to cleantech innovations. Currently, Christine leads the solar and renewable energy team at Radicle in addition to founding See Double, her consulting business that focuses on early-stage companies.
Christine uses almost all her spare time, with a small portion reserved for hiking in the mountains, to empower individuals that are seeking gender equity. She does this through mentoring youth fems + thems, engaging in municipal politics, and increasing diversity in spaces that are typically very one tone. As an outspoken queer woman, she fundamentally believes in fighting for a seat at the table and gaining access to rooms, then pulling underrepresented individuals into those spaces and moving on to opening the next closed door.
