Women and their families remain our priority. We believe that in order for a woman to thrive, her family must also thrive. Currently, in addition to our shelter and housing programs, YW offers education, employment skills, counselling and child development and childcare programs to women, children and men — we intend to expand these services in the new facility.
The new facility has been designed with the community in mind. We’re open to exploring new services based on the needs and requirements of the community. It’s our hope that the community will engage in activities and programs offered by YW; whether by using childcare centres and parenting programs; counselling and educational programs; or by becoming YW volunteers.
