Do you know a woman who has had an impact on the Calgary community during the last 150 + years? In 150 words, tell us how she has impacted you or the broader community and nominate her.

The 150 women selected will be part of a creative installation highlighting their stories, known and lost to history, that have made contributions to our community.

YW will review all submissions. Recognizing that some women may be nominated numerous times by several different people, only those individuals whose nomination has been selected for a shortlist will be contacted. When a final list is complete the nominator and nominee, if possible, will be notified. Permission to use an individual’s name in the final project may be acquired from either the nominee or their closest relatives.
