The YWCA of Calgary (YWCA) will be holding its 2013 – 2014 Report to Community event on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. The event will celebrate the organization’s achievements, milestones and successes throughout the past year.
In addition to the business portion, there will be a reception and donor recognition component to acknowledge community partners, supporters, volunteers, individuals and corporate donors who have helped support the organization in its mission to intervene, empower and lead when and where women need it most.
A YWCA client will also share her impactful story of how the YWCA helped her assimilate into Canadian culture by providing English lessons, supportive housing and help with her search for sustainable employment.
