A Purpose Built Facility
The YW Childcare Centre started in 1998 as a fully licensed facility in downtown Calgary. In the summer of 2019 YW Childcare moved into the new purpose-built YW Calgary Hub facility. The building includes: a separate main floor entrance, secure card access for families, large bright windows, fully secure outdoor play space, designated drop-off and pick-up parking for parents, and childcare spaces designed with children and families in mind.
Community Focused Approach
YW Kids is located in Inglewood, close to residential parks, playgrounds, and natural wetlands. Our location also offers unique opportunities to extend children’s learning in the community surrounding the centre. Our educators take full advantage of exploring in nature during frequent planned and spontaneous outings with the children.
